Unpatched systems
Security updates for the OS, web server, PHP or database are applied irregularly or never, leaving known vulnerabilities open.
Cloud & DevOps · Server Management
We keep your servers patched, monitored and recoverable, and we test restores on a schedule, because a backup that has never been restored is only a hope.
Linux server management services are the ongoing administration of Linux servers and virtual private servers: applying security updates, hardening configuration, monitoring health, managing backups, renewing certificates and responding when something fails. It covers the operating system and the services running on it, such as web servers, databases and applications like Odoo or WordPress. The goal is servers that stay secure, available and recoverable without your team having to watch them.
Servers are easy to launch and easy to forget. A VPS set up for a website or ERP years ago may still be running an unsupported OS release, with a full disk approaching, certificates renewed by luck and backups written to the same machine they are meant to protect. These problems are invisible until the day they cause an outage or data loss.
Security updates for the OS, web server, PHP or database are applied irregularly or never, leaving known vulnerabilities open.
Backup jobs report success, but files are incomplete, stored on the same server, or no one knows how to restore them.
Without monitoring, full disks, expired certificates and crashed services are noticed only when users complain.
Only the person who set the server up knows how it works, and that person may no longer be around.
Scheduled security updates for the operating system and installed packages, plus planning ahead of distribution end-of-life dates.
SSH key authentication, disabled root login, firewall rules, automatic intrusion blocking, minimal open ports and named user accounts.
Uptime checks, CPU, memory and disk usage, service health and certificate expiry, with alerts routed to the right people.
Off-server backups of databases and files on a defined schedule and retention, with periodic test restores recorded so you know they work.
Nginx or Apache, PHP-FPM, PostgreSQL and MySQL configured and maintained for Odoo, WordPress and custom web applications.
Investigation and recovery when services fail, with a short write-up of the cause and what was changed to prevent a repeat.
Restore tests show that backups contain what you need and how long recovery takes.
Disk, memory and certificate issues are usually caught by alerts before they take services down.
Patching and hardening follow a consistent baseline instead of individual habits.
Every server has a written record of what runs on it and how to recover it.
An Odoo Community or Enterprise server with PostgreSQL, filestore backups, worker configuration and controlled updates.
VPS-hosted WordPress sites kept patched, backed up and monitored, with PHP versions updated on time.
Servers running in-house web applications and APIs that need someone to own the operating system and database layer.
Machines set up by a former employee or vendor that need to be documented, secured and brought under routine care.
Urgent risks are fixed before anything is standardized or optimized.
Review each server's OS version, running services, open ports, users, backups and disk usage.
Address critical issues first: missing backups, exposed services, unsupported software, full disks.
Apply a consistent baseline for access, firewall, updates and logging across servers.
Add health checks and alerts with thresholds agreed with you.
Configure off-server backups and perform a first full restore test.
Patching, restore tests, capacity checks and reporting carried out on an agreed schedule.
Password logins and shared accounts replaced with individual SSH keys that can be revoked.
Only required ports are open; databases and admin panels are kept off the public internet.
Backups are encrypted and stored away from the server, so a compromised or failed machine does not take them with it.
Resource trends reviewed so servers are resized or split before they run out of headroom.
Digihub builds and supports Odoo, WordPress and custom applications, so server care is part of our everyday work.
When a problem sits between the server and the application, the same team can diagnose both.
Testing restores is part of the service, not something we do only after a failure.
We manage servers on the provider you already use, from Hostinger VPS to AWS, rather than requiring a move.
Fixed fees with the scope written down, invoiced in advance, and any minimum term stated up front.

Server management includes security patching, hardening, monitoring and alerts, backup management with restore tests, certificate renewal and incident response. We also maintain the web server, database and application runtime on the machine, and keep documentation current.
We manage Linux servers on most providers, including Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Hostinger VPS, AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. Ubuntu and Debian are the most common, and we can review other distributions case by case.
We periodically restore backups to a separate environment and check that the database opens, the files are present and the application starts. Each test is recorded, including how long recovery took, so you know what to expect in a real incident.
Administrative access is needed to patch and configure a server, but it is given through individual named accounts with SSH keys rather than a shared root password. Access can be reviewed or revoked by you at any time.
Yes. We manage self-hosted Odoo servers including PostgreSQL, filestore backups, worker and proxy configuration, and controlled updates. Functional Odoo support and version upgrades are handled through our Odoo support and migration services.
Monitoring raises an alert, we investigate and restore service, and afterwards you receive a short summary of what happened and what was changed. Alerts are handled during business hours, as set out in your plan.
