Odoo implementation in Pakistan: one system for sales, stock, POS and accounts

We set up Odoo for traders, distributors, retailers and manufacturers who have outgrown registers, Excel and disconnected billing software. The rollout follows your branches, your tax position and the way your staff actually take orders.

In short

Odoo implementation: Pakistan

Odoo implementation in Pakistan with Digihub is the full rollout of Odoo ERP, from mapping your processes to the day your team stops using the old system. It covers sales, purchasing, inventory, point of sale, manufacturing and accounting, configured for PKR, Pakistani sales tax and provincial service tax. We move your customers, products, opening stock and balances across, train each department and stay with you through the first weeks of live use. The sections below explain how that work runs, step by step.

Local context

What an Odoo rollout in Pakistan has to deal with

Odoo is used worldwide, but a Pakistani company brings needs that a default installation does not cover.

01

Tax setup that matches FBR and the provinces

Goods and services are taxed by different authorities. Taxes, fiscal positions and invoice layouts need to separate FBR sales tax from PRA, SRB, KPRA or BRA service tax, and show NTN and STRN where required.

02

POS that can report to FBR

Retailers classed as Tier-1 must connect their tills to FBR. Where that applies, the POS integration has to be planned into the rollout, not added after go-live.

03

Order bookers and route sales

Distributors need salesmen to book orders by route and shop, with credit limits checked before goods leave the warehouse.

04

Several companies under one owner

Family groups often run a trading firm, a manufacturing unit and a retail outlet as separate legal entities. Odoo's multi-company setup keeps their books apart while sharing products and customers.

05

Data stuck in local billing software

Many firms run on desktop accounting packages or Excel. Cleaning that data and agreeing opening balances usually takes more time than configuring Odoo itself.

What we deliver

Odoo implementation

01

Process mapping and module plan

We document how orders, purchases, stock and cash move today and decide which Odoo apps you need now and which can wait.

02

Localized configuration

PKR as company currency, Pakistani chart of accounts, sales tax and withholding rules, invoice formats and approval limits set up for your business.

03

Warehouses, branches and POS

Multiple locations, inter-branch transfers, shop tills and optional FBR POS integration for retailers who need it.

04

Data migration

Customers, suppliers, products, price lists, opening stock and receivables imported from your old system and checked against your own figures.

05

Customization where it pays off

Reports, print formats and small modules for local practices such as post-dated cheques or salesman-wise recovery, built only when standard Odoo falls short.

06

Training and go-live support

Role-based training in Urdu or English, user guides, and close support during the first weeks on the new system.

Working together

How a remote Odoo rollout from Peshawar works

We implement Odoo for clients across Pakistan without travelling to their premises. Planning, configuration and training all happen online.

Workshops on video calls

Each department walks us through its work on screen. We share notes after every session so nothing depends on memory.

A test copy before the real one

You get a test database with your own data to try every process before we switch the live system on.

Training your staff can replay

Sessions are recorded, so new joiners and people who missed a class can catch up without another booking.

WhatsApp during go-live

A group chat with your key users and our consultants makes it quick to report a problem with a screenshot during the first busy days.

Process

How a project runs

  1. Discovery

Online workshops with owners and department heads to map processes, tax position and reports.

  2. Solution design

A written document listing apps, settings, customizations and data to migrate, signed off before configuration starts.

  3. Configuration and data

We build the system in phases and load cleaned data into a test database for your team to check.

  4. User testing and training

Your staff run real scenarios, such as a credit sale, a stock transfer and a supplier payment, and confirm the results.

  5. Go-live

Final opening balances and stock are loaded, the old system is frozen, and we support live use closely.

  6. Stabilize and extend

After the first month close, we fix gaps and plan the next modules you want to add.

FAQ

Questions we hear most

How long does an Odoo implementation take in Pakistan?

A small trading or retail company with a few modules can usually go live in a matter of weeks, while multi-branch or manufacturing rollouts take a few months. The biggest variable is how clean your existing data is, and we give you a phased plan after discovery.

Should we use Odoo Community or Enterprise?

It depends on the apps you need and your budget. Community has no licence fee but lacks some features, while Enterprise is licensed per user by Odoo and includes more apps and Odoo's own hosting options. We explain the trade-off for your case before you commit.

Is Digihub an official Odoo partner?

No, we do not claim official Odoo partner status. We are an independent software company that implements, customizes and supports Odoo, and we tell you plainly what we will deliver and how.

Can Odoo handle FBR sales tax and POS reporting?

Odoo can be configured for Pakistani sales tax and provincial service tax, and its POS can be connected to FBR through an integration where your business is required to report. Your tax adviser should confirm your obligations, and we build to that.

Can our team be trained in Urdu?

Yes. Training sessions can be held in Urdu, English or a mix, and we record them so staff can rewatch. Screens stay in English unless you ask us to translate labels.

Do you come on site for go-live?

No, go-live is run online. Our consultants stay on calls and in a WhatsApp group with your key users through the first days, so problems are reported with a screenshot and fixed without waiting for anyone to travel.
